It’s Springtime and people are starting to eat outside again.  Instead of running back and forth between the kitchen and backyard when you have people over for a cookout, why not consider having an outdoor kitchen installed from ARK Construction.

Here are some must-haves for any Outdoor Kitchen:

1.     Grill.  A built in gas grill, as opposed to a freestanding grill is a must for any outdoor kitchen.

2.     Countertops.  Without countertops, your grill will be just that, a grill; and you’ll be prepping and serving all of your yummy outdoor treats inside at the kitchen table.  For this reason, having plenty of counter space is number two on our list of necessary features for outdoor kitchens.

3.     Refrigerator.  A built in outdoor refrigerator ensures you won’t be running in and out of your house for meat and poultry to cook on the grill.  It’s also a nice place to keep cold beer and wine without running to the garage or your kitchen.

4.     Wet bar.  A complete bar with stools for people to sit and drink while you cook will make your outdoor cooking experience more communal.  And the sink to prep food, and keep people hydrated isn’t a bad idea either, especially if you’re serving drinks.
